Junior instrumental performers were Rebecca Tupper winning blue, and Aaron Oyster receiving red.

Blue ribbon winners will advance to district competition in Culpeper.

After a very entertaining talent show, the 4-H Performing Arts Club presented their play “Pandora’s Box”. Evelyn Oyster is the adult volunteer leader for this club.

The club had been working all year on this play which was written by Devin Day and directed by Ruth Ann Oyster. Stage manager was Robin Oyster. In charge of costume design were Michelle Kaye and Kimberly Sealock.

The high school production of the play “The Birds” allowed the cast to use their stage set, and the club is very thankful for their generosity. Characters in this Greek comedy were: Zeus, Robin Oyster; Empimithius, Aaron Oyster; Man, Rachel Patterson; Pandora, Brienna Moineau; Jealousy, Rebecca Oyster; Pain, Ashley Hawkins; Gossip, Kate Kruczynski; Envy, Andrew Oyster; Lies, Elizabeth Welch and Carly Day; and Hope, Lauren Kaye.

This was a wonderful evening of entertainment and an example of the talented 4-H members we have in Rappahannock County.
