At the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America recognition dinner at the Braddock Street Methodist Church in Winchester on March 18, Walter Longyear received the 40 year Veteran’s Award.

He is an Eagle Scout and has served as the Chartered Organization’s Representative for Cub Pack 123 and Scout Troop 36 at Trinity Episcopal Church, as well as Chairman of the Troop 36 committee, since the early 90’s.
