Mary Elaine “Lainie” Morgan is the Valedictorian this year. She is a resident of Washington, the daughter of Sally and Tod Morgan. Morgan has been quite active in local theatre, as stage manager for three plays: two at the high school and one at Ki Theatre.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, worked on the school poetry and literature magazine - the Chrysalis and competed in public speaking. When not working on these activities, Lainie Morgan worked at Four and Twenty Blackbirds.
Morgan is planning to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut in the fall and hopes to study International Relations. 4
Salutatorian this year is Rebecca Claire Metcalfe, a Flint Hill resident and daughter of Patricia and Robert Metcalfe. Metcalfe is president of the National Honor Society, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, active in the Starfish Mentor program - pairing seniors as mentors to eighth graders.
