Sealed proposals shall be addressed to and deposited with Dr. David Gangei, Superintendent, at the Office of the Rappahannock County School Board, 6 Schoolhouse Road, Washington, Virginia 22747, until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time, June 13, 2000 for the following project"

Electrical System Upgrades

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the School Board Office at the time stated above .

A non-mandatofy Pre-bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local prevailing time, June 6, 2000, at the Rappahannock County High School, 12576 Lee Highway, Washington, Virginia 22747.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier’s check or the bid bond of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal.

Drawings and Project Manuals for bidding pur-l poses may be obtained by the contractors at the office of MEI Engineering, Inc., 276 South Liberty Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801, Phone (540)432-6272; Fax (540) 432-6683; e-mail metric ©aolcom on or after May 26, 2000. A nonretundable cost of $15.00 will be charged for each set of Drawings and Project Manuals mailed for 2-: day delivery. A non-refundable cost of $25.00 wil be charged per set if bidder desires documents be mailed for overnight delivery.
