short handed the team was very determined to take down the Tigers. The Tigers scored early, but Rapp continued to play hard and just missed on several goal attempts.
Then the bad news came, with thunder and lightning overhead, the game would be stopped. Then came a tremendous storm with heavy rains. Both teams would head for the Brentsville High School to wait the storm out. The game would not continue and Brentsville would win the Regional title 2-0.
In a soccer match if you play one complete half, before darkness or weather permits you from playing, then it is considered a legal game. Many of the parents and team members were very disappointed. The ladies had a great year, and need to be congratulated on a tremendous season.
