Being residents of Rappahannock County, do you often feel like you are isolated from the rest of the world? Do you dread summer vacation sometimes because there is nothing to do, nothing going on, and your friends have all flown the coop? Things can get pretty unexciting around here, especially if you don’t have your driver’s license yet or a summer job. Yawn, what will you do with all that time on your hands?

The Headwaters Foundation is sponsoring weekly summertime adventures for rising seventh through tenth graders who are Rappahannock County residents. “Adventures” are scheduled for Wednesdays from June 28 through July 26 and will range from a day of tubing On the Shenandoah River to a day spent tooling around museums in Washington, D.C.
