The Loudoun Museum, a growing, private local history museum in historic downtown Leesburg, is searching for a Director of Events and Membership. This staff position, reporting to the Director of Administration, will organize and coordinate social and special events, and is responsible for marketing the museum to the travel-tourism industry. He/She will assist the Director of Education with public programs and interpretive tours. This position will be responsible for membership growth and development and maintenance of membership database. Previous experience in successful event planning and coordination of volunteers. Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to work simultaneously on several projects. This is a full time position of $21,000 with health benefits.
