Richard and Jeanie McNear of Washington will welcome a new “son” for the 2000 school year, Miguel Gaviria Arango, a Youth for Understanding (YFU) International Exchange student from Colombia. Miguel will be a student at Rappahannock County High School.
As a member of the McNear family, Miguel will participate in all family activities, from vacations to household chores. While sharing the culture of Colombia with his host family and schoolmates, he will learn about American culture.
