Superintendent David Gangel noted that he had provided a revised budget that included the 7.4 percent pay increase, and that balanced the increased pay expenditures by: attempting to clean instead of replacing the elementary school water tank; by paying for high school electrical upgrades with bond funds instead of FY 2001 budgeted funds; and by using end of FY 2000 funds for bus purchases in lieu of FY 2001 monies.
