points for style if you pull out that elegantly embellished dark chocolate box at the end of a date.

Bonnie Blake Moore, who made the truffles, also does fine catering in the area, and provides these truffles as a small dessert item near the end of a multicourse meal. Eve Willis hds known her since Bonnie Moore cut her teeth as a sous chef at the Inn at Little Washington.

She is ecstatic to have persuaded Bonnie Blake Moore to do her the personal favor of offering these little delights at Rare Finds thi6 Valentine's week.

One little piece of advice for Valentine’s day: Get this sampler, or a nice gift- and stay inside all day and night. If you want to dine out, take that someone special to dinner at your favorite place the day before Valentine's day, or the weekend after. Despite the best efforts of your chefs and waiters, you’ll get better food and service- at a better price- some other day of the week than you will on the day itself. Trust me on this.

Besides; why not make the whole week a Valentine's season?

Bonnie Blake Moore can be contacted at 703-8204671, or mooredc@erols.com, if you are interested in fine catering, or more truffles. Rare Finds is right next to the Washington post office; their telephone number is 6751400.
