It was agreed that the first step in any solution would be the dewatering of the lagoon, and during that process the real problem should be identified. Dr. Gangel will proceed by soliciting bids for the repair work, so that required repairs can be completed after the present school term is over.
Sheriff's Office
update
Sheriff Larry Sherertz provided the Board with an update on the Montpelier incident and discussed other Office matters. The Sheriff noted that the Sheriffs Office "placed two charges on two adults" in connection with the Montpelier crimes, but that the investigation is continuing. He declined to comment on the third individual, except to note that this individual was being "interviewed in relation to a group of other cases which may lead to other thirigs."
He also suggested that the reward donations to the Rappahannock Historical Society be returned.
Sheriff Sherertz noted that the office has "identified people involved" in discarding construction trash on Route 621 last week.
