Fauquier Theatre
production extended
Fauquier Community Theatre has extended the run of its current production, "Love Letters," by A.R. Gurney. By popular demand, two more performances of the show have been added. They are Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Theatre at Vint Hill. Both performances begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets to "Love Letters” are $8 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. They are available by calling the Fauquier Community Theatre box office at 349-8760. Tickets also will be sold at the door.

Benefit coupon book sales
"Adventures in Dining" coupon books for 2001 are on sale now at Hospice of the Rapidan, 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320 in Culpeper. The discount books are $20 and feature over 45 coupons at area restaurants, valid through Dec. 30, 2001.

Computer course offered
Computer Fundamentals, a course designed for students that need an overview of computer with hands-on experience will be offered at Lord Fairfax Community College's Middletown Campus.
The course will be divided into three parts: introduction to computers, getting started with Windows and an introduction to Microsoft Word. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to create, edit, save and print documents. The course will be offered Feb. 10, 17 and 24 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
A session has also been scheduled for April 14, 21 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Two 3.5" high density diskettes will need to be purchased and brought to the first class session. For additional information or to register, contact the College at 868-7000.
Cattle workshop slated
for March 2
A 2001 Stocker Cattle workshop will be March 2 from 9 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. at the Marshall Ruritan Building in Marshall.
Topics will include: Reducing and Treating Respiratory Disease; Internal and External Parasite Control; Control and Treatment of Pinkeye; Seasonal Price Trends; Pasture Supplements; Custom Feeding as a Marketing Option and Use of Pasture Stick in Forage Stand Evaluation.
