Woodrow E. "Woody" Howard, 69, of Rixeyville died Friday, Feb. 2 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Mr. Howard was a farmer most of his life and belonged to Maranatha Baptist Church in Amissville.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Reginia Howard of Rixeyville; three daughters, Janet Merritt and her husband David and Lisa Taylor and her husband Bill, all of Rixeyville and Nancy Husky of Lenoir City, Tenn. and one son Douglas Howard and his wife Genia of Amissville.
Additional survivors include one sister Ruby Moran of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. and two brothers, Clarence Ray Howard of Hermitage, Tenn. and Robert Eugene Howard of Roncoverte, W.Va.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren and a special friend, Laura Campbell.
He was predeceased by his parents; one son Edward Howard and one sister Ina Marie Heaster.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Feb. 5 at Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Marshall Braylo officiating and Pastor Clyde Woodard Sr. eulogizing.
Interment followed in the Jeffersonton Baptist Church Cemetery.
Juanita Kelm
Falls Church resident
Juanita Lois Kelm of Falls Church died on Tuesday, Jan. 30.
She was a Life Time Member of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Kelm is survived by her husband Marshall H. Kelm; four daughters, Nancy Bernot of Falls Church, Malinda Ringler of Hurst, Texas, Marsha Thompson of Sperryville and Sarah Rossi of Warrenton; a sister, Betty Worrell of Columbia City, Ind.; 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
