See how she shimmers in her golden gown, stretching against the rising sun. She is calm now as the day begins. Soon she becomes restless, stretching her fingertips toward the sand. As time goes on, clouds surround her, dimming her beauty. A storm ensues and with thunder and lightening she pounds the shore. Yet, as quickly as it left, the calm returns to her hypnotic face. Then it is evening. She dons her gown of black velvet. Slipping slowly into the night, the excitement of her fragrance lingers. Yet she returns each morning. She never fails.

The way of love is much like that of the sea. It is so beautiful, yet unpredictable. Storms may brew through the course of a day, but calm always returns to make way for loving and happy moments. Most importantly, like the love of God, true love never fails.

As Valentines Day approaches let us meditate upon the way of true love and rededicate our love to that special one in our life. Happy Valentines Day.
