Feb. 11-17 is National Child Passenger Safety Week. During this week and always, the Rappahannock County Sheriff s Office is encouraging parents and care givers to buckle up their children, every ride and to educate children about safety in and around motor vehicles.
Motor Vehicle injury is one of the leading killers of children more than one year of age. Whether as occupants in motor vehicles, pedestrians or bicyclists, too many children are seriously injured or killed jn preventable crashes. Unfortunately, there are many things we can’t protect our children from.
