uauu. miaa Brenda (Pounder) who owns a run-down cafe/motel, has troublesome children, big problems and a bad attitude, is plenty suspicious of Jasmin when she rents a room at the seedy Bagdad.

In permanent residence at the motel are a hooker/tattoo artist, and Palance, (Rudy Cox) a former Hollywood set painter who quickly becomes infatuated with the very wellendowed Jasmin. Brendas slutty teenage daughter who goes off with every truck driver who suits her fancy, and her son, with a baby son of his own, are a constant trial to the Bagdad cafe s owner.

Jasmin is short on cloth: ing, having taken her husband's suitcase by mistake, but on discovering a magic kit in the luggage, commences to practice and becomes quite adept. She ultimately winnows her way into Brenda's life and heart, and the two forge quite a lovely relationship. Jasmin cleans the Bagdad up, and business starts to flourish as the two women present food and magic to customers.
