Rappahannock County landowners continue to donate scenic easements on their land to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, guaranteeing that the land will remain relatively undeveloped. This past fall two residents donated easements totaling 553 acres. These easements are part of 1,552 acres added to the program in the county in 1990.

One \ group playing pickup basketball included J Junior Jenkins, Mike Dunnigan, Kirk * Minor and David Pullen while Randolph * and Rebecca Wickens of Washington enjoyed a leisurely afternoon on the park's swings. The Rappahannock Anti-Litter League and You (RALLY) has received an Award of Recognition for its efforts toward litter control during 1990.
