Other activities

• Special Education teacher Andrea Logan presented the Transition Class trip request. The proposed trip will take place between May 19 and May 27 of this year, and will consist of a cruise on the Norwegian Sky from Seattle to Alaska. Dr. Gangel suggested that the trip proposal be reviewed by the school administration, after which he will present recommendations to the Board.

• Co-Assistant Superintendent Helen Williams reported on three donations: $320 from Miller Brothers for the Environmental Club to replace shrubbery destroyed during construction of the RCHS addition; a Compac computer from James Kirkpatrick; and a cruiser, for parts, from the Sheriffs Office.
