Bazaar
A great model and a wonderful
opportunity for the County’s children
What a concept. A non-profit organization dedicated to creation of a place for the young people of the County—and self-supporting too! The model created by the Rappahannock Bazaar is an interesting and worthwhile one. In a County where worthy non-profits outnumber MacDonalds (thank goodness) and make contribution decisions difficult, and where teenagers often travel sixty plus miles to engage in a social activity, the Bazaar approach looks promising. All it needs is people to sell, people to buy, and the kids to create their space. We’ll watch for its opening this spring, and give it a good look—you should too.
