Sophomore Darryl Cropp led the Rapp JV team with a season high 16 points.

On Friday, Feb. 9, the Strasburg Rams came to the RCHS gym to play the Panthers on Seniors Night. The enthusiastic crowd and the excitement of the final home game had the Panther five playing their best first quarter of the season. Scoring 17 first-quarter points, it looked like it was going to be a thriller as the Rams led 19 to 17 at the quarters’ end.

Too many bad passes and turnovers sunk the Panthers chance for victory in the second quarter and they fell behind 40 to 26 as the first half came to a close. Although the Rapp squad had a good second half, scoring 36 points, it wasn’t enough to catch the Strasburg team as they won 79 to 61.

Senior Mark Wharton and sophomore Kerry Grigsby led the Panthers with 14 points each. BJ Christian added 13 in the losing effort. The Junior Varsity suffered a similar fate falling to the JV team from Strasburg by the
