Accomplishments: Deputy Welch majored in Criminal Justice, has a minor in Sociology and won the top academic achievement award at the Criminal Justice Academy. It doesn’t take an individual long in the presence of Deputy Welch to realize how dedicated he is to his line of work. Free Clinic sets

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic, Inc., will be open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will next be open Feb. 21. Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6r30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Public Health Department Building. The Free Clinic is a cooperative effort of local doctors, nurses, and administrators to provide excellent primary health care and medicines to Rappahannock area citizens with limited means.
