Happy Valentine’s Day to ; one and all!
We had a very special wedding anniversary celebrated this ; month in Amissville. On Saturday, Feb. 10, Ernest David (Dave) and Dora L. Gheen celebrated 65 years of wedded bliss. ( They have been each other’s .valentines for 66 years. They were married in Fairfax in 1936 and moved to Amissville from Vienna in July of 1974. Mr. Gheen retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked as a technician from 1935 to 1980.
Mrs. Gheen is a homemaker, and together they have raised seven children. But they have been Mom and Dad to many others over the years.
