• RCHS Building Trades teacher Mr. Scott Schlosser recently shared pictures of the completed recycling shed built by his Building Trades II class and in use at the Flatwood Recycling Center. Needless to say he was extremely proud of his students. The next time you visit Flatwood take a few minutes t,o check out the fine craftsmanship.
• Periodically Mr. Schlosser’s students will advertise their services to raise funds for their department. If you ever have an opportunity to buy one of their picnic tables or storage sheds, you won’t be disappointed. In fact, if you are interested, call Mr. Schlosser at 987-8575 to place an order today.
• If you are a friend or supporter of RCHS, please mark your calendars now for the next PAC (Principal’s/Parents’ Advisory Council) Meeting in the RCHS Library on Wednesday, Feb. 21. The meetings begin promptly at 6 p.m. and last only one hour. If you have not had an opportunity to attend, please do. The meetings are a wonderful opportunity for you to ask questions that have* been on your minds for a while or to find out how to get more involved in a particular area. Best of all, you will begin to realize how much the school cares about you and .your child.
• Many of our staff members travel long distances to work in our county and we are very grateful to them all. And many volunteers work in a variety of areas to support our teachers and students in a multitude of ways. We are fortunate to have that level of ' support in this small community.
