Coach Jeff Nicodemus’s U10 coeds played against Orange with a defeat of 4-0.
The Rapp U-12 Firebirds coached by Tom Pendleton played their first game this season against Madison 1 at RCHS. Both teams played well with ball control dominating the action. Madison had very little chances to score with the Firebird defense shutting them down most of the game.
Madison created one scoring opportunity in the first half and was successful at getting past the defense and keeper. The Firebirds were not able to match Madison’s goal even though the game was fast paced and full of action. Final score Firebirds 0 - Madison 1. Coach Pendleton was pleased with the teamwork from his team and excited about the level of play. Go Go Go Firebirds!
Coach Brian Lee’s U-14 boys team played Orange at the high school field and dominated them with a victory of 5-0! Way to go guys! Our U-14 girls team, coached by Melissa Rodden, traveled to Culpeper with Culpeper defeating them in their first game of the season.
