school for the District opener. This time the boys played first, but not as well as they did against Manassas Park. After two quick George Mason goals in the first half, the game settled back into opportunities that the Rapp squad could never quite finish, as they always seemed to come up short at the critical time. The final score was the Mustangs 2 and the Panthers 0. The girls played the second game and they also came up short. The contest went back and forth as each team scored and the other tied it.
Sophomore Adrienne Moore scored a goal for the Lady Panthers, as did junior Amber Allen. But in the end the Rapp side fell one short and lost to theLady Mustangs by the final score of 3 to 2.
