Track
The track team traveled to Clarke County High School mid-week to participate in a trimeet with the hosting Clarke Eagles and neighboring double “AA” high school Central of Woodstock. Paced by senior BJ Christian’s performance in shot and discus, along with sophomore Zach Bridgeman’s first place finish in the 400m race, the boys team finished second to Clarke and 15 points ahead of Central in the meet.
The girls’ team was missing several members due to illness and injury and was not up to the task and finished last. The highlight of the day for both teams occurred at the high jump pit.
