Many gardeners will be out in force this week stirring the soil and planting and rightly so for this week has been proclaimed as “Garden Week”.
We offer congratulations to the students at Rappahannock Elementary School who have made the Honor Roll for the fourth grading period, and especially those of our surrounding areas, namely Crystal Heflin, Corey Hitt, Hannah Gall and Sarah Switzer. Keep up the good work.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Ester Dodson Rutherford of Castleton Mountain Road, and widow of the late Harry Rutherford, who passed away Wednesday at Warrenton Overlook Health Center.
Condolences to the family of Mrs. Pearl Cubbage, widow of Oakley Cubbage who passed away at her home on Friday at the age of 82.
