The Rappahannock County Youth Soccer League played its first game, Saturday, April 7.
Coach Hogan’s U-8 Slime Time team played Coach Oyster’s U-8 - the Green Dragons, Saturday morning at the elementary field. They are gearing up for an outstanding season.
Our league’s U-10 girls team, coached by Laura Dodd and assisted by Amy Kretz played Culpeper U-10 girls team and were defeated 3-2. ; The coed U-10 Demons, coached by Camille Racer and Mary Waggoner and Eric Brass, assistants, sprinted into their season with their first goal within 10 seconds of {.he start of the game. < The front line assisted Oliver Brass to the first score of the game and a huge burst of confidence for the whole team. Madison gave us a very tough fight but with outstanding,, goalkeeping by Michael Landrum and Anthony Pratt, we were able to keep them at bay. The Madison coach stated he thoroughly enjoyed Saturdays game and would give us a warm welcome when We head to their home field. Final score 1-0 Congratulations Demons!
