Resisting the pressures of growth and development from surrounding counties is the “greatest common concern” of the people of Rappahannock County, according to regional planners who conducted a community “visioning” meeting in the county in February this year. ; The RappahannockRapidan Regional Commission last week issued a summary of the meeting held Feb. 20 at the Rappahannock County fibrary. ' The community meetings in Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Orange and Fauquier counties were part pf the regional commission’s effort to develop a ‘Vision”, or long range plan, for the future of the five county region.
