We surely can’t complain about this beautiful weather we’re having. Everything is bursting out in different colors. The stores are full of new potted plants to buy and plenty of lawn furniture. We know spring is finally here!

This weekend is Easter, and don’t forget our special Good Friday night service at i the Sperryville United ' Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. Many of the churches are having special services, including the sunrise service on Red Oak Mountain if the weather permits.

That congregation has increased as the years have gone by. You have to get up early, and be sure to dress warm, but it seems when you’re on the mountain before the sun rises, you’re really reliving the Resurrection morning. Check your paper for the time, and plan on attending. After the service, breakfast is served at the Forest Grove
