Others depict soldiers camps and the construction of new buildings, such as the Treasury, and the city’s new trolleys, pulled by horses.
The Civil War Round Table meets monthly at the bookshop on Main Street in Sperryville, and is open to anyone interested in studying the war period. Tuesday evening’s meeting is open to members and non-members, but non-members should call 987-8444 by Monday to reserve space, which is limited.
