If you have not been contacted but Would ei\joy volunteering for qne or two hours on Friday, June 1 please call Jan Makela at 987-8259 as soon as possible. It is important that all tasks be assigned in advance to insure that this will be a fun and safe day for everyone.
• RCES P.E. teacher Carol Nowakoski is excitedly planning Field Day events for June 1 and invites everyone to attend and cheer for our students. The Field day events will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
• Fourth - Seventh graders will be divided into Blue and Gold teams and will compete for their team all day. The Invitational Mile Run will take place at 900 a.m. There will be 100 point bonuses given for each runner of the mile that finishes. (Students had to qualify in advance to run the mile.) Students will earn points for their teams each time that they race, even if they finish in last place. The winning team will be announced after the T\ig of War at the end of the day.
• Third graders will join the older students for the Tug of War and will be assigned to the Blue or Gold team for this competition.
• All K-3rd grade events will be held behind the school on the blacktop and behind the Dental Trailer. Fourth Seventh Grade events will be on the hill next to the school or in the gym. Bring your sun screen, hat and chair, and spend the day cheering for our
