Election Districts for
Rappahannock County
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing on Monday, June 4, 2001, at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. To consider two plans for the decennial redistricting of the County’s election districts as required by §24.2-300 et seq. Of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended). It is the Board’s intent to adopt and enact one of the plans in accordance with §24.2-306 of the Code so as to take effect in time for the August, 2001 primary election. Copies of the plans are available for inspection at the County Administration Office at 290 Gay Street in Washington, VA from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All interested persons are invited to attend and to make comment.
