Spiritual Walkers - 2A led by Jennifer Gray; Gay Street Walkers led by Beverly Atkins; Teen Angels led by Fay Smoot; The Ivy League led by Maybelle Gilkey; Patty’s Angels led by Christina Luke; Bailey’s Baptist led by Wanda Snead; Youthful Spiritual Walkers II led by Annie Cook and Jennifer Grey; Flying Sawsages led by Lily Strange; and Trinity led by Louise Eastham. As of 8:30 a.m., a total of $49,400 was raised but the eventual total is expected to exceed $50,000. Fifteen of the 35 teams met the goal of raising $1,000 each. Carolyn’s Love, Laugh and Love I led b; Carolyn Leake raised a total o $5,753.00, the most of an; team. The Bennie Lee Atkin Team led by Ben Atkins raise* $2,975.25 for second place And, Carolyn’s Love, Laugl and Love II, led also b; Carolyn Leake, were in thin place with $2,706.25 Benjamin Atkins, II, a membe of the Bennie Lee Atkins Team raised $1,042, the larges amount for any individual. Thus, another successfu Relay event was completed proving once again that peoplf from Rappahannock can d* good and have fun, rain o: shine.
