game of the season against fourth place George Mason High School at Rapp on Thursday, May 17.

It was their last regular season game and prevented the Panthers from finishing in the cellar with no wins on the year. Junior Jamie Keys kept the Mustangs off-balance the entire game with some great pitching and sophomore Daryl Cropp led the offense with a key, bases loaded double late in the game to give the Panthers the final margin of a 5-2 victory.

Meanwhile, the junior varsity Panthers split their games this week - losing a tough one at Brentsville 6-5 and coming back the next night with a terrific win over the JV squad from Madison 64. The Junior Varsity Panthers finish the season in fourth place with a 5-7 record.
