students have worked very hard preparing for these tests, and we are sure to be pleased with the results. Please encourage your children to go to bed early the night before each test, to eat a good breakfast on test days, to arrive at school on time and to relax.
• Incredible imaginary creatures have been seen throughout the Middle School halls at RCES this week to the amazement of everyone. Mrs. Lilo Wolfe’s Sixth Grade Reading students have been working on this project, which involved reading, language development, art, science, presentation skills and drama, for several weeks.
• Students from others classes will be invited to the culminating activity at the Outdoor Classroom in June.
• A special RCHS PAC (Parents’ Advisory Council) meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 30 at noon in the RCHS Culinary Arts room. The purpose of this Brown Bag Lunch meeting will be to discuss the possibility of beginning an Independent Study Program for Juniors and Seniors next year. Parents at the last PAC meeting agreed that this would give students the opportunity to study areas that are not covered in the present curriculum. If you are knowledgeable about these kinds of programs, you have a specific interest in this program, or you are just interested in learning more, please pack your lunch and join us for the discussion.
