^uther Payne of Washington caught a seven 3>ound 13 ounce German carp Saturday while •fishing in Happy Creek on the Shenandoah stiver near Front Royal. TWr. Payne said that it took him more than 20 Jninutes to land the fish which was 33 inches ^Jong. He was using sweet com for bait.
