The Sperryville Cemetery Committee is currently seeking donations to help pave the cemetery road. Also a number of headstones need to be reset. A fund has been established to accomplish these two tasks and donations would be appreciated.

; A Song Camp weekend in the country with songwriting workshops and concert by Beth Nielsen Chapman, Ysaye Barnwell and Paul Reisler will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14-16 at Ki Theatre in Washington.
Beth Nielsen Chapman is a recording artist and songwriter. Her hits include Faith Hill’s This Kiss”, “Nothing I Can Do About It Now” for Willie Nelson, Tanya .Tucker’s “Strong Enough To Bend”, “Happy Girt” for Martina McBride and many, many others. 0eth has released four albums on Warner Brother’s records deluding “§andand Water.” - Ysaye Maria Barnwell joined the internationally acclaimed a Cappella quintet, Sweet Honey in the Rock in 1979. As a singer, she has an extraordinary vocal range of over three octaves. ; She has composed some of the ensemble’s most popular songs, including “Breaths” and 1pn Children.”
Paul Reisler is a composer, teacher, leader of the group Trapezoid and host of Songcamp ip the Mountains He has taught at Nashcamp, The Kerrville Folk Festival, The Rocky Mountain Polks Festival, the Swannanoa Gathering, Common Ground, .Southern Utah Song School, Augusta and many others
This workshop will have a special emphasis on songwriting as well as the tools songwriters peed to express themselves both lyrically and musically. • Cost is $175 which includes -Concert tickets. The schedule -includes a Friday night concert at IS with Chapman, Barnwell and Reisler with Diane Bardwell.
