Washington that one of his cows had been shot.
The cow, which had recently given birth to two calves, was in a bam w hen it was killed.
The owner stated that the shooting must have occurred between 9 p.m. on June 4 and the morning of June 5.
Examination revealed that the cow, weighing about 1,300 lbs. and valued at $500, had been killed by a gunshot between the eyes. The calves were not harmed.
