Fourth, there has also been no explanation of why the Park needs eight acres of land to accommodate 250 cars on its proposed new lot, when the present lot, which holds the same number of cars, is only 2.2 acres.
Fifth, according to the article the Park representatives stated that the new location “would result in less traffic impact on Old Rag area residents.” I am at a loss to understand this statement. The new location would cause the numerous cars which now go no farther than the existing lot to continue on up Route 600 to the entrance to the proposed new lot, passing some 10 additional houses along the way. How this results in “less traffic impact” is beyond me.
