Summer session classes offered
It’s not too late to register for summer session classes at Lord Fairfax Community College. The seven week summer session, which run from June 18 to Aug. 6, will be offering courses such as College Composition I. Survey of World Civilization II, Preparing for College Writing, Reading Improvement I and many others.
Courses are also available for computer skill enhancement, career advancement and exploration Day, evening, and Webbased courses are available as well as short session courses where a semester can be completed in as little as five weeks. For information on these and other course offerings or to meet with a counselor to discuss educational opportunities, contact the College at 868-7000.
IJCC to offer Phys Ed course
An aerobic fitness class will be held on Monday and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:40 p.m beginning June 17 until July 31 at the Washington School. This LFCC course will be a two credit course for Lord Fairfax Community College. The cost of the course will be $86.92
Checks are to be made payable to LFCC. There is a minimum class size of 14, so call Rose Ann Sharp at 675-3887 to pre-register today.
Art in the Park registration set
There are still spaces available for Art in the Park this summei ihrough the Windmore Foundation Classes will be held July 15-19 for six to eight year old children. The 9-12 year old classes will be held the week of July 22-26. All classes will be in the Fellowship Hall of the Culpeper Methodist Church. For information call Windmore at 547-2555.
