This upcoming Saturday, June 15 will mark
the 52nd annual graduation at Rappahannock
County High School and we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the seniors, their parents, teachers, and administrators on their many accomplishments.
We not only congratulate them but we also wish them well in future endeavors.
Sixty-eight students will receive diplomas and be on their way to making a difference in. our society.
Thirteen from the class are members of the National Honor Society.
Sixteen members will receive the Governor's Seal (24-credit diploma with other requirements).
Thirty-two of the graduates will receive a Tech Prep Seal (regular diploma with vocational completer which means that the students completed three extra business classes or two extra vocational classes).
These are all great accomplishments and we are proud of the Class of 2002.
Rappahannock schools closed on Wednesday, June 12 for the 2001-02 session.
Children will begin their summer vacations and we wish them all a busy and fun-filled summer.
Teachers, principals and administrators have worked hard this past year and will appreciate the break, even though some of the staff will work throughout the summer months.
To the seniors: we extend best wishes for much happiness and success as you travel the path of life, whether you continue your education or enter the work world. Good luck!
