The end of spring sports for Rappahannock County High School teams came far away at a small school nestled in the foothills of the James River Gap.

The hoy’s varsity soccer team was the last RCHS team standing at the end of spring regional competition. As the number two seed in Region “B”, the Panther’s traveled to Buchanan, Va. to play a state quarterfinal game with James River High School. The season ended as it began with the Panther’s struggling to find ways to score. This time their efforts were hampered by the inevitable injuries that plague all soccer teams.
