George never lost the common touch and George filled every unforgiving minute with more than 60 seconds.
I went looking for George one day w hen he was in his late 70s. I found him painting the roof of a barn at the family farm. He remained independent and active throughout his life.
And he filled our lives with respect and admiration for his courage. For his wall to live. For his fight to live. •
George, we’ll miss yoiir sense of humor, your unfaltering curiosity about the world, vour fighting spirit, and the standards of hard work and honesty you lived by.
And the connection you gave your daughter, your son, your grandchildren and great grandson Peanut with their past. We were blessed to have had you with us.
