As has been mentioned earlier, the prize of this year’s sale is an estate collection of over 90 books, including rare, unusual as well as practical books on fly fishing. These books, priced individually, will, we hope stir wide interest in the piscatory community, both in the county and beyond.
Collectors will find a 1916 edition of Louis Rhead's “American Trout Stream Insects", a first edition of “Bright Rivers" byNick Lyons (with a letter from Nick laid in!) as well as books by Ed Zern, John Gierach. Theodore Gordon, Joseph Bates, Robert Traver, Eric Leiser, Lee Wulff, Vincent Marinaro, and many more.
