• Our Prep School Dean. Dr. Marilene Henry, and our Lower School Coordinator. Ms. Rachel Bechtold, have been hard at work on next year’s course offerings. The possibility of adding several new mini-courses to the Enrichment period of the day's schedule has been approved, and next year’s mini-courses will include Afro-Amencan Literature. History of the Middle East, History’ of Africa, and Speed-Reading Study Skills.
• Mrs. Marsha Dowell, College Counselor for students in grades eight through twelve, spent much time this spring working with the students as they prepare to begin community service and college selection. Mrs. Dowell has set up meetings with each grade to give the students an idea of a timeline for college placement. Once a mysterious and daunting task, the process is much less complicated with a counselor’s help. It
