Each coach selected athletes from their teams to receive MVP Awards and Coach’s Awards as well (See related sports story). We are very proud of all of these students.
• Congratulations as well to the RCHS Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team on their efforts in the State Tournament. This is the first RCHS Soccer team to make it to State, and the team (along with Coach Shay Bell) is to be commended. They ended the season with several injuries, but pushed on in spite of them. They failed to bring home the state championship, but they have paved the way for future teams. Great job!
• Many thanks to RCHS parent Kathryn Treanor for sending e-mails to all who requested them, keeping us up to date on the Soccer team’s game locations and performance. This was greatly appreciated.
