The Fourth of July is traditionally celebrated as America’s birthday, but the idea of an annual day chosen to celebrate the United States flag first originated in 1885. A schoolteacher arranged for students in the Fredonia, Wisconsin Public School, District 6, to observe June 14 as ‘Flag Birthday’. This day was the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes.

Nowadays, June 14 is better known as Flag Day, and this year we celebrate the 225th Anniversary of The United States Flag. What better way to show American pride than a birthday party for the Grand Ole Flag!
