some additional light on the two candidates: Ben Jones is a Life-time member of the NAACP with an activist history in the civil rights movement. Mr. Cantor’s rating from the NAACP is only 27 percent. His rating from the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda is zero.

On a personal note, I like dogs and cats. Mr. Cantor received another zero from the Humane Society of the United States.

I urge the Rappahannock News readers to reread Gerald Ochs’ article and they will see that Ben “Cooter” Jones is the moderate. Ben Jones is a gentleman. Ben Jones is independent. Ben Jones knows who he is and his mind is always open.

By the way, the phrase, “Holy Cow” was popularized by the great Yankee shortstop turned broadcaster, Phil Rizzuto, not by Harry Carey.
