Hunter sajety courses set

Hunter safety courses will be held in Culpeper and Fauquier this year and Rappahannock residents are encouraged to participate. In Culpeper, classes will be held Nov. 5 and 6 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and all day on Nov. 9 beginning at 8 a.m. For additional information call John Dodson at 543-2070

In Fauquier classes will be held at the Warrenton Police Training Center on Carriage House Lane on Oct. 12. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Oct. 13. noon to 4 p.m. and Nov 9, 8 a m. to 4 p.m. and Nov 10. noon to 4 p.m. The class is open to the first 65 people and again contact Mr. Dodson.

Clinic will be open Oct. 16

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open Wednesday. Oct. 16 and not again until Oct. 30. Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Public Health Department Building. For information call 347-0394.

Events at CRHplanned

The following events are organized through Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Oct. 7. Diabetes Support, this month's special presentation will be Know Your Nutrition: A Guide to Better Diabetes Management and will be held at CRH. For information, call 829-4254.

Oct. 10: Depression Screening Day. Pinebrooke Psychiatric Center offers a one-day, free-of-charge screening day. Screening will be done in the Family Birth Center Classroom at the hospital. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from 3 to 5 p.m.

Oct. 15: Drug & Vitamin/Herb Interactions, learn about some of the common vitamin and herbal supplement interactions with drugs in this one-hour, free session at Culpeper Regional Hospital from 6 to 7 p.m. Call 829-4190 to register.

Oct. 16: Mommy & Me. this free class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Family Birth Center at CRH. To reserve space call 829-4114. ^ ’
